Stunning little Mexican book of prayer with impressive decorations.

This antique book of prayer consists of a book cover made of hand-sawn and diamond shaped pieces of mother of pearl, a hand-crafted brass clasp with the Sacred Heart . The stunning motif that is printed in them (best seen in image 42) make this book of prayer simply majestic.

The table of holidays in this book starts with the year 1869. Inside it shows that this book was printed in Mejico and the wonderful graphics are by Francisco Bachet of Paris.
