The Los Dos Tigres brand was founded in 1885 by Manuel Aniceto González Risso, who had the factory at 2 Méndez Núñez Street, Cádiz. When Manuel died, his sister María del Amparo González Risso took over the factory. Later, the Heraclio Fournier firm acquired the rights to this Los Dos Tigres model. It corresponds to the Cadiz or Gaditano Pattern. Its main characteristics are the Gold Coins with geometric designs. The Cups without a lid (except the Ace) have straight, almost cylindrical edges. The Clubs have branches and shoots. The Horses are rampant (hands raised) and small in relation to the rider. On the Horse of Cups appears the inscription "AHI VA" or "AIVA". The Horse of Gold Coins usually has a whip in the rider's hand. The Kings do not have a beard. Many figures have "balloon" sleeves, typical of this design. This Cadiz pattern was made more for the foreign market and for that reason it is less known in Spain. It is very well known in Mexico, Morocco, Tunisia, France, and the Philippines. The medal represented on the 2 of Pentacles is interesting: His Highness Abbas Hilmi Pasha Khedive of Egypt. Khedive or Khedive (Lord - title of the governor of Egypt and Sudan). He was the last Khedive of Egypt. He reigned between 1892 and 1914. The Khedivate of Egypt was an autonomous tributary state of the Ottoman Empire, created after the defeat and expulsion of Napoleon Bonaparte's forces that put an end to the French occupation of Lower Egypt. This commemorative medal of Abbas Hilmi II for the International Import and Export, Suez Competition, dates from approximately 1892, the year he began to govern at the age of 18.
