Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos perpetual motion gold-plated 15 jewel clock. Model number 528-8, circa 1982. The clock is in perfect working order, white dial is in excellent condition, has Arabic gold-plated over brass numerals going around the clock face. The movement is fully 15 jeweled, serial number is stamped on top of the movement. The case is clean and bright with no wear, front glasses closes tight. Gold plating and lacquered over brass. The Atmos clock is powered by perpetual motion; it does not need to be wound manually. It gets the energy it needs to run from temperature and atmospheric pressure changes in the environment, and can run for decades without human intervention. A temperature variation of only one degree in the range between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, or a pressure variation of 3 mmHg, is sufficient for two days' operation.
