Several months after releasing the KAWS Share Figure in February, the artist released his long anticipated KAWS Take Figure on June 9th, 2020. The figure, which features a black BFF holding a black Companion, is the inverse of the KAWS Share Figure which shows a black Companion holding a black BFF. Each figure measure 13.39 x 6.3 x 5.12 inches tall and carried a retail price of $360. KAWS originally debuted the Take design at the Skarstedt Gallery in London for his BLACKOUT exhibition in late 2019, and now you can own a much smaller version perfectly suited for your home today. Brian Donnelly (born November 4, 1974), known professionally as Kaws (stylized as KAWS), is an American artist and designer. His work includes repeated use of a cast of figurative characters and motifs, some dating back to the beginning of his career in the 1990s, initially painted in 2D and later realized in 3D. Some of his characters are his own creations while others are reworked versions of existing icons.
