The dozens of golden stars that rest on the mantle of the Virgin of Guadalupe have a meaning and one that is much more emotional than we believe. The stars in the turquoise green mantle reflect the exact configuration and position that the Mexican sky presented on the day the miracle occurred.

It is known that on the mantle of the Virgin of Guadalupe there are about 46 stars that represent the sky of December 12, 1531. According to the Catholic Church, the image was captured in a “miraculous” way on the tilma of the indigenous Juan Diego.
