Biography

Dulce Luna , Mexican Artist.

In every painting, every scene and element of my work I look to develop my own language through the colors and shapes, to carry to the spectator to a new world only existing in my mind, with the aim of transmit my ideas and emotions, always with the constant purpose that somebody could feel identified with my artwork.

“I see in the art, especially in the painting, the way to express myself without using words. Every time that I have a worthy idea to be captured, I feel the need to paint it.”

About Dulce Luna was born in Mexico City, she studied in Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “ La Esmeralda”, living and working in Guadalajara for the last 13 years “ She has participated in different individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico and several cities around the world, for example in Chicago, New York, Florence, Venezia, Madrid, Barcelona and Vancouver.
