Vintage Yonezawa Japan 1957 Tin Toy “Happy Chick” Friction Powered Car

This one-of-a-kind “Happy Chick” toy car is made of tin metal, with friction motor allowing the rooster going back and forth in seat while the car flexes between firewall and hood (bonnet). When pushing down, the car flexes and goes forward.

This vintage Yonezawa “Happy Chick” toy car is in vintage condition for its age (1945), with all original parts and some rusts. It is truly a fine example of the post war Japanese tin toy collection.
