WWII German Luftwaffe Cap Eagle Military Insignia

WWII German Luftwaffe Cap Eagle Military Insignia

Size: 8 cm W x 4 cm L

Description

This WWII German Luftwaffe Cap Eagle Military Insignia is constructed of silvered metal and depicts the outstretched Luftwaffe eagle grasping a swastika in its talons.

Worn on German Air Force visor caps and other forms of military headgear, the insignia served as one of the principal identifying emblems of Luftwaffe personnel throughout the Second World War.

The reverse retains its original horizontal pin-back attachment for uniform wear. In our opinion, this is a well-detailed example of a WWII German Luftwaffe cap eagle military insignia.
