Lino Chávez is a well-known sculptor and painter that is highly recognized throughout the Mexican Republic. His start as an artist began in his childhood where a lot of his inspiration would grow from watching family members with artistic backgrounds. Chavez went on to study architecture and in 1988 he went to a painting workshop at the Camarillo Art Center in California. In 1993 he entered the National School of Plastic Arts in San Carlos.
