Born in Mexico City on February 9, 1946, he graduated as a Painter at the National School of Plastic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has gained prestige in artistic graphic printing through his workshop, Ediciones Multiarte, specializing in silkscreen printing.

His activity as a painter is parallel to his role as a printer. His style is identified by large and rigorous textured geometric bodies, in which he explores the horizon, being sometimes more figurative and other times, abstract.

In 1978 he presented his first exhibition at the San Angel Gallery. He also exhibited solo exhibitions in Cancun, Quintana Roo; Guadalajara, Jalisco and Mexico City. He has participated in collective exhibitions in the United States, Malta, France, Venezuela, Brazil and Japan.

He currently continues his pictorial production without abandoning his graphic production in silkscreen and engraving, an activity that he has carried out in the State of Morelos since 1996, where he also teaches his classes at the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos.
