WWII German Heer Army Visor Cap Eagle Insignia

Size: 8 cm W x 4 cm L

This silvered metal national eagle insignia was worn on the visor caps of the German Heer during World War II. The design features the spread-wing eagle clutching a wreath enclosing a swastika, one of the most recognizable symbols of German Army headgear of the period. The reverse retains its original horizontal pin-back attachment and is stamped with the maker's mark "A." Fine feather detail and an attractive silvered finish remain visible throughout.
